**KEY FUNCTION**:
Provide day-to-day maintenance, advisory services, technical guidance and support to internal users on the operation and maintenance of the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) system. Perform and test system upgrades, troubleshoot solutions, participate in process improvement initiatives, and develop training and process documentation.

**REPORTING**:
Under the general direction of the Manager, Payroll and indirectly reporting to the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Specialist.

**DUTIES**:
Responsible for end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors ECP product configuration, testing and maintenance to support scheduling, pay, contractual and legislated rules and changes provided by Human Resources (HR) and/or Payroll.

Address, manage and triage day-to-day issue defects related to the ECP Solution and ensure resolution.

Log incident tickets with SAP support and ensure timely follow-up for resolution.

In collaboration with the HRIS team, provide impact analysis and regression testing for proposed changes to the HRIS, Scheduling Systems, Payroll and/or any downstream systems or financial reporting as required.

Conduct ECP system testing including system upgrades, releases and implementation as required.

Collaborate with stakeholders and other business functions to design/maintain processes that will improve overall system effectiveness and efficiency.

Develop and maintain ECP functional specification documentation, business process workflows and/or standards of work; provide input to ECP associated supporting policies and procedures and support knowledge transfer to Payroll and HR team as required.

Collaborate with functional areas/system owners in HR, Scheduling, Payroll and Information Technology (IT) to ensure client needs are met.

Evaluate data quality issues and determine preventative strategies to improve system and data accuracy.

Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies that address problem areas while staying up-to-date with current system releases.

Manage security in ECP and ensure payroll related data is handled as per any information protection policies and legislation.

Perform ECP uploads and identify/resolve upload errors as required.

Troubleshoot, develop and build custom reports as required, following the established HRIS reporting standards.

Develop downtime notifications and provide to IT service desk.

Monitor and maintain an inventory of the various interfaces to ensure data integrity, reliability and continuity.

Assist in the identification and measurement of key performance indicators and benefits as required.

Resolve any data replication errors/issues as required.

Determine and align improvement projects with HSN’s Strategic Plan; monitor and adjust to achieve goal outcomes.

Participate in education and training specific to current, relevant federal and provincial health and safety legislation, standards and guidelines.

Educate and promote health, safety and wellness in the work place.

Represent the department or program on various committees and in meetings as required.

Perform other duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION AND TRAINING**:
Minimum of a four (4) year Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources Management, or related field, from an accredited university.

Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.

**EXPERIENCE**:
Minumum of three (3) years’ experience working with SAP Success Factors - ECP.

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Scheduling Systems (Time and Attendance Management) and Payroll Systems is preferred.

Experience working in a unionized environment with collective bargaining agreements is preferred.

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**:
Demonstrated ability to provide effective solutions/diretion to Payroll business users to align with overall Human Resources Information System (HRIS) strategy.

Demonstrated strong customer service skills in supporting Payroll business users with system issues/concerns.

Demonstrated knowledge of Payroll Legislation is preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge Human Resources processes in various functional areas (e.g Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment, Performance Management) is preferred.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills is required.

Demonstrated training, experience or utilization of lean methodology for process improvement.

Demonstrated ability to independently identify issues, plan improvements, measure success and continue improvement.

Demonstrated excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and patient information systems.

Demonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
