**The Opportunity**

The SVP Product creates a strategic product vision with a scalable product portfolio. The SVP Product is responsible for product strategy and innovation, product management, market positioning, competitive analysis and research that facilitates informed problem solving and decision-making across the company. The SVP Product leads cross functional colleagues including software engineers, designers, and maintains strong collaboration with the go-to-market teams and partners. It is the SVP Product’s responsibility to lead the teams to the execution of the collective product vision and strategy.

**The Challenge**

**Product Vision & Management**
- Lead the consolidation of the product management organization into a results-driven team that moves rapidly and creates great products and great customer experiences.
- Serve as the company’s product visionary and lead the development of the Company’s product roadmap that defines target markets, competitive positioning, product features, resource allocation by product and expected return on investment.
- Provide direct leadership to the individual heads of the product management teams and establish a mini-CEO mindset for product P&L and cross functional leadership to enable all parts of the organization to effectively market, sell, implement and support products delivery.
- Establish roadmap buy-in from all stakeholders including Executive Leadership, Board of Directors, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Professional Services and Support.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and partner to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other leaders.

**Customer Experience**
- Responsible for the product experience and considering the customer at every stage of product development and being a customer advocate.
- Meets with customers regarding experience and evolving requirements, and with research and data creates products relevant to the customer demands.
- Responsible for key customer metrics including client retention, cross selling and NPS.

**Product Management Execution with Partners**
- Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer and engineering teams to help drive on-time and high-quality product releases.
- Lead all product launch and organizational readiness activities to ensure successful product launches for all releases.
- Implement best practices of a software product management organization and develop an enhanced culture built on an understanding of success through operating excellence.
- Oversee and guide the implementation of reporting systems and organizational enablement standards that will better serve customers and enhance overall product success and profitability of the organization.
- Lead product-related M&A due diligence and integration activities.

**The Right Fit**

**Education & Experience**:

- Experience in software technology product management, at least 15 years of management and strategic experience.
- Experience working at the Executive Leadership Team level.
- Experience leading product management teams, including integration of acquisitions.
- Experience driving success of the product vision to execution and wining in the market.
- Extreme ownership of P&L results, accountabilities and leading cross functional teams in pursuit of profitable growth.
- Proven history of product management leadership in scaling, high growth companies.
- Elevated ability to work in a collaborative environment, negotiate challenges, explain product considerations, and recommend solutions across stakeholder groups including executive team, cross functional teams, partners, and board of directors.
- Exceptional results in championing the customer experience with top in class achievement in NPS, and client growth and retention.
- Ability to think and act strategically, proactively, and with a sense of urgency.
- Well-developed knowledge and understanding of government technology industry market conditions and trends, and competitor products and pricing.
- Strategic thinker with ability to assess situations from multiple angles, evaluate risk and provide integrated recommendations and solutions.
