Primary Responsibilities:
As Product Management Lead, you will work closely with our Business Development and Engineering Team to support customer engagements and drive product initiatives. You will be responsible for drafting project manuals, setting up service networks, preparing test agreements, and ensuring our products meet customer needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the direction of our products and contribute directly to the growth of the company. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Product Documentation and Manuals:

- Create detailed documentation for products, including user guides, installation manuals, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all manuals are clear, accurate, and tailored to meet customer requirements.
- Establish and uphold standards for product documentation.
- Regularly update manuals to reflect product enhancements and industry changes.

2. Service Network Establishment:

- Identify and collaborate with service providers to establish a reliable network for product support and maintenance.
- Develop service protocols and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and partners.
- Monitor service quality and address any issues promptly.

3. Test Agreements and Compliance:

- Prepare test plans and agreements for product trials and pilot programs.
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Stay informed about relevant industry standards and certifications.
- Ensure products meet all necessary compliance requirements before deployment.

4. Customer Engagement Support:

- Work closely with the sales representative to understand customer needs and product expectations.
- Provide technical expertise during customer meetings and presentations.
- Tailor product features and documentation to align with specific customer requirements.
- Gather feedback from customers to inform product improvements.

5. Product Strategy and Development:

- Provide insights based on customer interactions to guide product development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize features that enhance customer value.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
- Use findings to refine product positioning and strategy.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Liaise between sales, engineering, operations, and compliance teams to ensure alignment.
- Communicate product updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes related to product management and customer support.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a technology-field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a product-orientated role within the technology industry.
- Hands-on experience with product documentation.
- Experience in product lifecycle management, from conception to launch.
- Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies.
- Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements and provide technical support.
- Familiarity with supporting sales teams in a technical capacity.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation and agreements.
- Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel (within and outside of the GTA) to meet with customers, partners, or attend industry events.
