**Context**:
The goal of this project is the realization of integrated nanophotonic circuits enabling the addressing of qubits for industrial quantum sensors. Such systems are to be employed as room temperature ultra-sensitive magnetometers in the fields of geological exploration, defense, navigation, medical imaging, and for the development of quantum computers. This embodies a pioneering quantum technology to be brought early to the market and adopted on a large scale.

**Topic**:
Your task will be the large-scale commercialization of ultra-sensitive magnetometry nanodevices utilizing optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) technology. The conclusion of this postdoctoral internship will have a significant impact for the research partners and the quantum industry in Canada at large: The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the spin qubit ensembles used in commercial sensors. The researcher will have the opportunity to thrive in the 3ITlaboratoriesand the Quantum FabLabto develop optoelectronic metrology processes:

- Photoluminescence and ODMR characterizations of photonic nanostructures at T=300K and 4K.
- Mapping of quantum decoherence times.
- Quantification of integrated microwave circuits.
- Data analysis and establishment of industrial protocols for quality monitoring.
