**About the Organization**:
The Mennonite New Life Centre (MNLCT) is a vibrant, multi-cultural settlement agency for newcomers to Canada. The Centre provides a variety of settlement services, including information/orientation, language instruction, mental health supports and capacity building workshops, public education and bridging to employment. The Centre is a tech-forward charity that utilizes technology solutions to meet the needs of its stakeholders. As a result, several of our services and programs are delivered in a hybrid format, offering clients and participants options to receive services through virtual and in-person services.

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties within the Mennonite New Life Centre of Toronto (MNLCT). Also providing clerical and administrative support to HR and Finance Manager and the Executive Director. Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies). Support human resources processes by administering the area; scheduling appointments; conducting orientation; maintaining records and information same as and representing all Centre policies and practices across all program activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain time and attendance tracking system.
- Update employee database.
- Maintain all employee correspondences.
- Review, maintain and develop HR policies and procedures.
- Develop standard forms.
- Support all HR strategy initiatives.
- Assistance as needed with change management processes and/or organizational design and development.
- Assist with annual and bi-annual performance review process.
- Assist in the planning and execution of training and development initiatives.
- Assist the Health and Safety Committee in scheduling meetings, minute taking and performing monthly audits. Prepare summary reports based on health and safety audits.
- Prepare report for audits and or funders.
- Update and develop Job Descriptions.
- Develop in coordination with Team Leaders Competency Job Descriptions.
- In charge of internal announcements.
- Responsible for Internal and External job postings.
- Run police reference check and job references.
- In charge of coordinating all the activities related to the onboarding process prior to the starting date and follow-ups with new employees.
- Elaboration of Job offer letters and Contracts.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of diploma or degree in the Human Resources field either within Canada or internationally.
- 2-3 years of experience in HR information management and employee relations.
- Knowledge of legislative bodies governing working environments within the Province of Ontario.
- Able to maintain the confidentiality of all employee relations.
- Good listener/communicator, able to understand employee needs.
- Good time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task; self-motivated and is an effective team player; attention to detail is a must.
- Travel between service locations may be required.
