The **Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)** is a regulatory agency that reports to the Ministry of the Attorney General. In this role, the Inspector will use their thorough knowledge of the Registrar's Standards for Gaming, Lottery and Cannabis along with the Liquor Licence and Control Act, Gaming Control Act, Horse Racing Licence Act and other related legislation and regulations to plan and undertake compliance activities at licensed/registered premises including special occasion permit functions, break-open ticket vendors, commercial/charitable gaming sites, cannabis retail stores, racetracks, horse training centres, bingo halls and registered lottery retailers.

- Advanced written and oral French language skills to Ontario Government standards.

- Direct experience conducting inspections and/or other compliance activities and providing excellent service to the public.

- Demonstrated ability to give evidence at hearings and court proceedings.

- A willingness to travel and work variable hours (including nights, weekends and statutory holidays).
- A valid driver's licence with an acceptable driving record.
