Reservations Supervisor

Toronto, Canada The Hazelton Hotel Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Reservations Team
- Maintain an orderly and clean environment in reservation area.
- Be able to answer phone calls, book hotel and spa offerings and give correct information on ALL room packages and gift card types.
- Assist with payroll, schedules, vacations, leaves, etc.
- Maintain an attitude and a level of service in accordance with the Forbes Service standards.
- Work with Director and Assistant Director of Revenue and Reservations to understand and execute the revenue plan and manage rooms inventory.
- Be available to provide answers to the team’s questions.
- Assist with hiring, training, and preparing PBX/Reservations Agents to respond to guest questions and complaints and troubleshoot problems with services or products.
- Ensure agents understand and comply with all service standards, and hotel policies.
- Monitor and evaluate agent performance, provide learning or coaching opportunities, and take corrective action, if necessary.
- Assist with preparing reports and analyzing data.
- Work with other supervisors and management team members to support agents and maximize guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Front Office/Reservations/Revenue a strong asset.
- Minimum 1-year of supervisory experience.
- Excellent command of the English language, secondary language a benefit.
- Must be able to work flexible hours throughout the entire week _(evenings and weekends)._
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
