**Group Sales Manager**

**About the Role**:
K2 Group is a privately held, fully integrated company that strategically acquires, develops, constructs, and repositions hospitality, petroleum, and real estate assets throughout Canada and USA. We are seeking a Group Sales Manager who will be responsible for achieving market segment revenues and occupancy targets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develops and manages group sales revenue and operation budgets and provides forecasting reports.
- Conduct sales calls, develop accounts, and establish relationships with key corporate and/or agencies.
- Assists with selling, implementation, and follow-through of group sales promotions.
- Responsible for coordinating group guest room(s) sales and catering in accordance with hotel standards.
- Maintains successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses, and providing a return on investment for the Hotel.
- Set goals and objectives on an on-going basis with General Manager to formulate and prepare the Sales & Marketing plan.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).
- Coordinates events, arrange meetings and works with General Manager to maintain the budgeted revenue through solicitation of business.
- Develops new business, lateral development of existing accounts and contacts new customers in the market.
- Create group blocks and develops local group business.
- Provide timely and professional reporting of all sales activities and results as required by General Manager.
- Work closely with the Management Team to ensure all accounts receive prompt and efficient service.
- Ensure a positive hotel profile is maintained in the local community to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Responsible for achieving and/or exceeding the established sales targets in regard to volume per guest (VPG), net sales volume and closing percentage as directed by the management.
- Build annual budgets, contribute to the development of the sales & marketing plan, and actively involved in revenue.
- Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3-5 years of previous hotel sales, marketing, and hospitality experience.
- Degree, Diploma in Business, Hotel Management, Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays based on business requirements.
- Must have a valid G Driver’s License.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively, while handling multiple assignments.
- Highly effective analytical, problem-solving, research, and decision-making skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
