PEI Brewing Company is one of Charlottetown's first craft breweries. But, a great beer is made by great people. The production team of the PEIBC are the people behind our quality beer. They work to make sure our beer is fresh, kegged, bottled, canned, packaged and shipped across Canada.
**As a Logistics Coordinator, You Will**
The Logistics Coordinator is a crucial member of the PEIBC Logistics Team, contributing significantly to the Company's fulfillment responsibilities. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator oversees and directs daily delivery operations and steps in to fill any operational gaps as needed.
Key Responsibilities include:
**Logistics Management**:
- Third-Party Coordination**: Collaborate with third-party trucking partners to ensure accurate and safe handling of off-island product shipments
- Staff Management: Assist in setting weekly and daily responsibilities for the logistics teams in collaboration with the Logistics Manager.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Maintain and contribute to the development of SOPs to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Vehicle Management: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles, including managing vehicle log books.
- POS Material Delivery: Organize the delivery of POS materials for the PEIBC Sales & Marketing team.
- Warehouse Coordination: Work closely with the Warehouse Coordinator to manage stock levels, product rotation, and overall cleanliness, ensuring accuracy in off-island orders.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Sales Team and Orders Desk to address customer service-related issues for PEIBC customers.
- Draft Service: Help Manage the draft technicians' schedule, priorities and direction when required. Assist in training.
- Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve logistics-related customer service issues.
**Administrative Duties**:
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular POS inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Role Coverage: Provide coverage for the Logistics Manager and Sales Coordinator roles as needed, and fill in for delivery teams when needed.
- Team Meetings: Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss logistics operations and improvements.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as required to support logistics and overall business operations.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, third-party partners, and customers.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to efficiently handle unexpected logistics issues.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software and tools, and the ability to quickly learn new systems, including Ekos, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Customer Focus: A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and addressing customer needs effectively.
