MOSAIC has been actively involved with the Burnaby Division of Family Practice as well as the Burnaby Primary Care Network in support of MOSAIC’s advocacy as well as services supporting newcomers’ ability to access culturally appropriate healthcare. MOSAIC has been selected to run the Patient Medical Home Priority Population Clinic in the Burnaby Edmonds area to support four target populations: newcomers and refugees, mothers and babies, homeless or under-housed individuals, as well as individuals with complex mental health needs the clinic is expected to operate as a team with 6 family doctors, nurse practitioners, administrative staff as well as 6 Allied Health staff.

**POSITION FUNCTION**:
The Human Resources Partner acts as a trusted HR advisor business partner and HR liaison between MOSAIC and Clinic Staff. This role develops, implements, and evaluates human resources policies, programs, and procedures and provides a full range of HR services to clinic staff in partnership with MOSAIC's HR team. Is the first point of contact for operational partners, consults on and manages a wide variety of issues including policy development and interpretation, recruitment and selection, staff training and development, and works closely with MOSAIC’s HR team to support all organizational HR activities.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develop and utilize business metrics to measure the achievement of the organization’s strategic goals and objectives
- Monitor the legislative environment for proposed changes and their potential impact
- Cross-collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders
- Create and foster a cohesive team and promote a positive work environment that encourages innovation and collaboration
- Integrate change management practices as needed
- Develop and uphold policies and structures that promote an inclusive, accessible, and equitable organizational culture at MOSAIC
- Provide advice and recommendations to directors, managers, and supervisors on:
- HR issues, drawing on knowledge of both MOSAIC practices and best practices in the HR field
- Conflict resolution processes
- Develop and monitor strategies impacting employee satisfaction, engagement, and performance to strengthen a positive learning culture, while supporting the achievement of organizational objectives
- Create and maintain a culture that builds a diverse and inclusive work environment, recruitment practices, and community engagement
- Initiate and promote cross-functional working relationships to solidify the relationship between employees at all levels and create a collaborative culture of a two-way dialogue at all levels
