A growing, community-based organization that provides residential and outreach support for homeless youth in Peel Region. **MISSION**

**PRIORITIES**
- Develop, promote and support programs with a housing first for youth framework, that builds success through the social determinants of health.
- Lead the daily operations of the outreach programs, including case management and overall community programming for the programs.
- Engage as a member of the management team in the Engaging, empowering and elevating people in building highly successful organizations. development and review of agency practices and programs.
- Collaborate with ongoing services partners to continuously address gaps and barriers to accessing service.
- Supervise and lead employees in implementation and completion of program workplans, care loads, case management, goals and objectives.
- Participate on a rotation basis with other designated management staff to respond to emergencies via on-call support.
- Create a safe and secure setting for youth to access outreach programming in the community.
- Connect with community partners in events, tables, and yearly budgeting meetings.
- Foster a positive and supportive working environment with an emphasis on building a positive labour relations climate.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:
**TALENTS & EXPERTISE**
- University degree or equivalent in a related social services field. Masters in a relative field is considered an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience working as a supervisor/manager in the social service sector, preferably with a focus on youth homelessness.
- Understanding of issues relating to youth homelessness and the barriers youth face in attaining and maintaining their housing, as well as an understanding of the broader housing sector in Peel.
- Experience in recruiting and supervising program staff.
- Experience working with budgets, funding proposals and completing funding requirements.
- Valid First Aid, CPI/UMAB Certifications preferred
- Completion of a successful Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check will be a condition of employment.
