With experience in **infrastructure site servicing related to land development**, you will plan and coordinate production efforts of foremen under your supervision and motivate them to accomplish daily activities safely, correctly, and efficiently within estimated timelines. The Civil Site Supervisor reports to the General Superintendent and is the main liaison between the Project Manager and jobsite activities to ensure the execution at the jobsite level complies with drawings and project specs. SilverLine supervisors must understand how to use construction technology effectively for crew time reporting, equipment/operator/labour scheduling and planning, and reporting.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervisor and direct construction projects in strict accordance with the contract documents.
- Ensure that all assignments are completed on time and within budget.
- Analyze specification and construction drawings.
- Monitor the construction process to ensure compliance with drawings, SLG quality standards, design procedures, contract specs.
- Enforce all project quality-control policies and safety hazard controls.
- Monitor all crew activities as it relates to quality, safety, and productivity.
- Ensure the completion of all reporting requirements related to the project, safety, and the crew: supervisor journal, project progress reports, health & safety documentation, incident/accident reports, equipment circle checks, equipment and labour time.
- Maximize the efficiency of the production work force, materials, supplies, equipment, and tools.
- Enforce and monitor security procedures to protect the Company’s assets in the field.
- Plan, organize/schedule materials, and equipment and direct a team of 10-15 operators/pipe layers.
- Scheduling machines varying from off-road trucks to excavators, skid steers, dozers, and backhoes
- Scheduling people varying from general labour to pipe layers, and top man
- Schedule and call off rental equipment
- Forecast work and address potential job issues before they become problematic
- Assists lead personnel in resolving any problem areas.
- Organize and coordinate subcontractor activities as required to maintain project baseline schedule.
- Supervises work assignments and ensures that labour is scheduled to satisfy operating requirements in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Assists in the co-ordination and performance of the work flow of all jobs in process.
- Motivates all crew activities to maintain the highest levels of productivity.
- Responsible to assist the Project Manager in the hiring, dismissing, and changing the duties and responsibilities of all personnel reporting directly to this position.
- Participates as required in the project estimating process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all estimates on behalf of Silverline.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of Heavy Civil Supervisor experience
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Must have exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must have expertise in organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A proven high-performing leader, who can motivate their team to perform with exceptional-quality
- Professionalism in verbal and written English communication skills for interaction and correspondence with clients, colleagues, consultants and team
- Class G license with clean driver’s abstract, required
