As the **Customer Service and Admin. Officer **at Obasan, you’ll have the opportunity to join a fast-growing, environmentally-conscious company with progressive core values. We design and manufacture beautiful, organic mattresses that are fully customized to fit each sleeper’s needs.

This is a permanent, daytime, full-time position for our Ottawa-based factory. As an active member of the Obasan team, you’ll be reporting directly to the General Manager.

The successful applicant will be in charge of overseeing the growth and success of customer interactions, improve customer experience throughout the sales process and help our marketing team with social media interactions.

The Opportunity:

- Front line customer experience specialist via online chat
- Accepting and processing new orders from E-Commerce, network of authorize retailers and our in-house sleep specialist. Keeping our customers aware of their order status, fulfillment, invoicing and payments.
- Making necessary shipping arrangement, and providing customers with tracking details. Scheduling local deliveries, prioritizing rush request
- Advice and resolve all customer issues to Obasan high level of satisfaction
- Prepare thank you and referral packages
- Assistant to in-house sleep specialist
- Publish content in editorial calendars across various social media platforms
- Engage with online community, facilitate online conversation with customer and respond to queries.

Job requirements:

- Communications skills in both English and French is a must.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Organized, independent, able to work under pressure to meet deadline and multi-task
- NetSuite (Oracle) experience preferred but not required
- Data entry experience preferred but not required

**Salary**:

- $45 000 + Bonus

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year
