La Stratégie nationale de dotation en ÉME de l'ARC vise à éliminer les écarts pour les quatre groupes désignés de l'ÉME définis comme suit : les Autochtones, les personnes en situation de handicap, les membres des minorités visibles et les femmes. Lorsqu'il existe un écart lié à l'ÉME au moment de la nomination, l'ÉME peut être utilisée comme critère de nomination pour les nominations permanentes et temporaires de plus de six mois faites dans le cadre de ce processus.

L'ARC a introduit l'exigence de la présence sur place, y compris des modèles de travail hybrides où les employés doivent travailler sur place dans un lieu approuvé par l'ARC au moins deux jours par semaine ou 40% de leur horaire de travail mensuel habituel. Un certain nombre d'exceptions individuelles et d'exceptions de groupe liées à la présence sur place peuvent être accordées en fonction des situations individuelles et de la nature du travail effectué. Les ententes de régime de travail et les circonstances particulières peuvent être discutées avec le gestionnaire au moment de l'embauche.

**Activités principales**

Déterminer et formuler une décision par écrit à différentes parties à savoir si un emploi est ou non assurable, y compris la détermination du statut d'un emploi, de la durée d'un emploi assurable incluant les dates de début et de fin, de la rémunération assurable, du nombre d'heures exercées dans le cadre d'un emploi assurable, de l'identité de l'employeur d'un assuré.

Déterminer et formuler une décision par écrit à différentes parties à savoir si un emploi ouvre ou non droit à pension, y compris la détermination du statut d'un emploi, de la durée d'un emploi ouvrant droit à pension incluant les dates de début et de fin, du montant des gains obtenus au titre d'un emploi ouvrant droit à pension, de l'identité de l'employeur d'un employé qui occupe un emploi ouvrant droit à pension.

Rédiger le rapport de décision selon les normes nationales et émettre les décisions juridiquement exigibles.

Répondre aux demandes de renseignements de différentes provenances concernant le programme des décisions d'admissibilité au Régime de pensions du Canada et à l'assurance-emploi (RPC/AE).

Fournir des renseignements et des conseils au public, aux organismes privés, publics ou gouvernementaux et à d'autres ministères du gouvernement ou aux secteurs de l'ARC sur les enjeux touchant la couverture par le RPC/AE et travailler avec les lois et règlements des autres ministères.

Le bassin établi au moyen de ce processus de dotation peut servir à doter des postes similaires.
