Diamond Head Tree Care, a firm based in Vancouver and Burnaby, is seeking a tree care office coordinator.

Our team of 10 staff members do meaningful work restoring local natural areas and building resilient urban forests. As we continue to grow, we seek someone to join our team to provide office support. You will work closely with our leadership, administrative and accounting teams in this role.

Location: City of Burnaby

Position Type: Full-time, Monday-Thursday, 10-hour workdays.

**Salary**: $25-30/hour depending on experience

Primary duties and responsibilities:

- Assist with staff recruitment (draft job postings, filter applicants, book interviews) and coordinate new staff onboarding.
- Co-ordinate requests for work from clients, schedule activities using Jobber, and liaise with the tree care managers to ensure delivery of services occurs promptly.
- Draft project invoices for our tree care operations team and manage the accounts receivable.
- Handle all aspects of payroll and benefits.
- Process employee expenses and track allowance spending.
- Provide prompt and helpful responses to staff enquiries and communication to build trust, convey a friendly work culture and ensure a positive employee-employer relationship.
- Strong attention to detail with an orientation towards accuracy, completeness and timeliness in record-keeping and management.
- Professional caliber written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: friendly, professional, and tactful

Qualifications: - Minimum 1+ years in a related position
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Jobber will be considered a major asset
