**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**We have an exciting opportunity for a **Finance Intern **to join our team in **Vancouver, BC **on a 6 month contract.**:
**W**
**hat You’ll Do**: With the objective of Defining a Higher Standard, the Finance Intern is responsible for supporting accounting, reporting, internal control, procurement and other finance streams through a variety of tasks which will support the development and enhancement of the individual’s financial and analytical skills.**Work Environment**: This position is to be performed in-person from our office in Vancouver, BC. All COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our employees.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyze information in support of reporting cycle and investor relations;
- Support continuous improvement of policies, processes and internal controls;
- Perform reporting tie-out to supporting documents;
- Roll forward reporting cycle documents;
- Support the preparation of tax filings and analysis;
- Prepare Statistics Canada reports; and
- Other duties, including project work, as assigned.

- Currently enrolled in a college diploma or university degree in accounting, finance or related program (equivalent experiences will be considered);
- Experience in financial and/or business services capacity;
- 1-2 years of experience in a clerical/administrative function and/or experience in accounts payable would be considered an asset.
