**Job Synopsis**
- MCC has long recognized that the work of our programs and the issues we seek to address with partners are often interwoven in many complex ways. In response to this reality, the Indigenous Neighbours, Walking with People in Poverty, and Restorative Justice programs have created a shared pilot project, called “Connectors and Change-makers”. The project mobilizes MCC’s supporters (donors, constituency, volunteers) to ‘listen into action’ and to work collaboratively for justice. The development of action-oriented education and awareness training, shaped through collaboration with people who have lived experience in conjunction with Ontario Programs, will be the means to achieve this goal.
This full-time role, (37.5 hours per week) has been created to develop this project, under the guidance of a multi-disciplinary team, with the input of our respective networks of community partners. This role requires a systems and operational thinker that can draw the connections and design education and awareness around macro and micro issues that are inhibiting systemic change. This person requires significant peacebuilding, facilitation, networking, and change management skills who can foster teams of diverse stakeholder groups to cooperate toward shared goals. This person does not need to be an expert with all the answers. On the contrary, this role is designed to bring together the formidable skills, passion, resources and wisdom of community partners and MCCs constituency to learn and work for systemic change collaboratively.
MCC is a charitable organization that partners with churches and community organizations worldwide to walk with people who are disadvantaged. MCC supports activities that provide emergency assistance, reduce poverty, and promote healthy communities, sustainable living, and alternatives to violence. As an internationally recognized NGO, MCC currently serves in more than 45 countries with over 475 partners, 1,000 staff and 40,000 volunteers.

**Challenges**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Partnership Engagement
- Work collaboratively across three MCC programs (RJ, WWPiP, IN) to identify and prioritize partners for deeper engagement.
- Work with Indigenous and marginalized people to identify focus and strategies for engagement on the justice issues related to systemic barriers and violence.
- Network with organizations to find and amplify existing education, social change, and advocacy strategies in progress and showing promising practices.
- Develop or foster strategic networks with partners and link supporters to shared goals.
- Reach out to MCC’s supporters and encourage them to use their connections to further broaden the message to diverse audiences.

Action Focused Education and Engagement
- Engage with supporters (donors, constituency, volunteers) to identify next steps of engagement on justice issues.
- Help equip participants to engage further in action that contributes to change.
- Review current edu
