Maintenance Crew Lead

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Crew Lead to join our team. As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of our landscaping company. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to lead independently, work as a team and proficiency in the English language.
**Duties**:
- To make sure the property is complete in a timely manor.
- To ensure all equipment is on the truck before going to the next site and secured.
- Ensure machinery is in working order.
- Minor maintenance on machinery.
- Making sure the job is complete and cleaned up as necessary.
- Documentation of sites completed.
- Daily pre-trips and check lists, all paperwork signed off and handed in daily.
- All notes from clients, any concerns or comments relayed to supervisor/owner.
- Keeping the truck, trailer and machinery in clean and presentable condition.
- Occasional weekend work if weather caused an issue during the week or is requested by owner/supervisor.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months
**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lawrencetown, NS B2Z 1L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2024-04-01
