Landscape Labourer

East Coast Elegance Landscaping is looking to hire a hardworking motivated Landscape Labourer to join the team for the upcoming spring and summer season This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to lead independently, work as a team and proficiency in the English language.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Follow safety regulations.
- Follow directions and communicate with the supervisor regarding projects and assignments.
- Working independently and as a team.
- Be able to mow grass, trim bushes, trees and plants.
- Lift and carry sections of walls, fences, and building materials in specified quantities.
- Weeding and mulching landscape beds.
- To make sure the property is completed in a timely manor.
- To ensure all equipment is on the truck before leaving for the next site and secured.
- To assist the crew lead if needed.
- Keeping the truck, trailer and machinery in clean and presentable condition.
- Occasional weekend work if caused by inclement weather or is requested by supervisor/owner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6.5 months

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lawrencetown., NS B2Z 1L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
