**Your New Role and Team**
Our Engineering team is looking to hire a Field Technician. Working closely with our Hardware, Software, AI Engineering, and Sales Teams, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the design, architecture, and implementation of our current robotic systems and help shape future versions of our general-purpose robots.

- Bring hands-on experience in great customer-oriented attitude; demonstrating in-person engagement with customers
- Gain cutting-edge career experience observing and maintaining robots during operation in live-production environments and supporting day-to-day mechanical, networking, connectivity, and electrical maintenance
- Expand your engineering experience as you work with Linux operating systems alongside our other engineering teams to collect diagnostic information
- Gain company-wide visibility as you support our general-purpose robot deployments
- Tap into your communication skills as you interface directly with client engineering and leadership teams

Your Experience*

Qualifications: *
- Diploma in mechatronics, electrical, mechanical engineering, computer science, or engineering physics; a related technical field or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated experience with Linux operating systems
- Demonstrated experience of working in production / on-site with customers

Skills: *

Extensive debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with repairing electro-mechanical assemblies, basic knowledge of fabrication & assembly
- Demonstrated knowledge of configuration-management
- Experience with tuning and operating control systems
- Excellent documentation skills and on the fly problem solving skills
- Clear communication skills, both with customers, management and engineering partners
- Some knowledge of robotic systems will be an asset
