Kärcher, a world leading manufacturer of innovative cleaning equipment, has an opportunity for a Field Service Technician for professional product lines servicing commercial customers in the GTA and surrounding areas.

This is a full time, permanent position based out of the Canadian head office. The head office is located at 275 Pendant Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5T 2W9.

Reporting to the head of Service, the Field Service Technician is primarily responsible for providing timely onsite troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of all makes and models of Kärcher advanced professional floor care equipment. This includes commercial and industrial scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, pressure washers and various other Kärcher products.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assess, test, repair and service Kärcher products at customer sites
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with management, coworkers, and customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain complete, timely documentation, including field service reports, work orders, part orders, transfers and replenishments, time sheets, and others as defined by management
- Manage service van inventory to maximize first time call completion
- Responsible for proper and safe use, maintenance, and reporting of all Kärcher company property
- Represent Kärcher brands and promote Kärcher products by consistently presenting a professional image
- Other duties related to warehouse activities when required by operational demands

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing commercial cleaning equipment or appliances, or similar equipment
- Experience with electrical, liquid propane (LP), mechanical, engine and/or hydraulic systems is a plus
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service mindset, problem solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills
- Highly-motivated individual who works well in a team atmosphere and independently
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Outlook; Dynamics is an asset
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Able to travel up to 90% of time within the GTA with a company-provided service van

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT**:English

**SALARY RANGE**:$55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience

**OTHER REMUNERATION**:Potential incentive bonus plan, overtime when required
