Job Title: Field /Gas Service Technician

Location: Mississauga, ON

Pay Rate: $22-28 per hour, based on experience

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Mississauga.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining

industrial baking equipment, including ovens and proofers, both in-shop and at customer

locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our

customers' equipment through timely service calls, installations, and proactive maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to service calls to repair ovens, proofers, and related equipment, both in-shop

and out in the field.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues

accurately.
- Install and configure industrial/retail systems, ensuring proper functionality and

adherence to technical specifications.
- Program and optimize MIWE control systems (BDS, MUCS, CS, TC) and frequency

converters for efficient equipment operation.
- Execute service and maintenance contracts, performing scheduled maintenance and

inspections to uphold equipment performance.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers, including selling spare parts and

recommending maintenance solutions.
- Perform in-shop repairs on stock and customer ovens to minimize downtime and ensure

operational readiness.
- Package spare parts securely for shipping, ensuring accurate fulfillment of customer

orders.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in repairing and maintaining industrial baking equipment is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics is required.
- Experience in programming MIWE control systems and frequency converters is highly

advantageous.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
