- ROLE SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Financial Services, the main functions of the Financial Management Officer will be more specifically realizing the College's financial activities and assisting the various services with financial management.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

**Schooling and Experience**
- Undergraduate degree in an appropriate field of specialization (business administration, accounting, etc.) or a diploma or attestation of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.
- Must be bilingual in both English and in French (oral, written and comprehension).
- Experience with computerized financial tools or accounting software is mandatory.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft's Office suite software, including Word, Excel and Outlook (Office 365 an asset).

**Other Requirements**
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and to deliver multiple projects under tight timelines.
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others.
- Explicit skills for remote and onsite animation activities with a diverse clientele.
- Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be diligent, dynamic, creative and detail oriented.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to different situations.
- Must have a strong work ethic and exercise discretion.
- Knowledge of the Cégep system would be an asset.
- MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- The incumbent is involved in the organization and in implementation of the following activities, projects:

- They analyze revenue and expenditure items and receive and analyze budget requests.
- They prepare and supervise accounting entries. They verify the compliance of accounting operations. They ensure that accounts payable and accounts receivable are verified, and take any appropriate measures required.
- They design and develop work tools for budget planning or monitoring, for the staff concerned.
- They may be called upon to prepare or take part in the preparation of financial statements.
- They may be called upon to take part in developing and updating specific computer programs.
- They may be called upon to coordinate operations in the payroll service.
