**Fund Development Coordinator**

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron is a
non-profit community-based mentoring organization seeking a
- **2-year Full Time, Contract, Fund Development Coordinator**_

Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Job will be a hybrid of in office and work from home

**The Primary Responsibilities will include**:

- creating a targeted fundraising plan
- planning and running several fundraisers through-out the year; including both expanding on current fundraisers, and implementing new fundraisers
- developing and implementing a donor mail-out campaign
- creating a targeted marketing/communications plan
- researching and implementing donor management software
- seeking out potential grant opportunities
- developing and implementing a social media strategy
- web-site management
- assisting with the growth of The Little Shop, our children’s consignment store
- general office administration
- Education and/or experience in the related field of Fundraising Management
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Canva and web-conferencing platforms
- Strong and effective communication and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently

**Additional Information**
- Access to a reliable vehicle is essential, with a minimum of $1,000,000 liability insurance (mileage for Agency related purposes to be paid by the Agency)
- Current criminal reference check - vulnerable sector is required
- This position has the opportunity to extend beyond the 2-year contract, pending reaching a targeted fundraising plan
- Hourly wage starting at $21/hour. 35 hours per week. Flexible hours with lieu time accumulation and benefits (HSA). 2 weeks paid holidays, 12 sick days and 2 personal days per year.

**Salary**: From $38,220.00 per year
