**Role Overview**:
As the Infrastructure Analyst reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure, you'll oversee network design, troubleshoot connectivity, ensure security compliance, and develop disaster recovery plans. In addition, your role spans storage administration, data backup, and VMware virtualization support.

**Network Configuration and Maintenance**:

- Design, implement, and maintain the Firm’s multi-site network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Configure network devices and ensure proper routing, VLAN segmentation, and subnetting.
- Monitor network performance and proactively address any bottlenecks or issues.

**Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution**:

- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring mínimal downtime.
- Investigate and troubleshoot network-related problems, both independently and collaboratively with other teams.

**Network Security**:

- Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure network security compliance and best practices.

**Network Disaster Recovery**:

- Develop and implement network disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of network failures or data breaches.
- Storage administration, support and provisioning
- Data backup system including backup software and hardware
- Virtualization infrastructure (VMware) administration and support
- Developing and maintaining documentation on system infrastructure, design and procedures.
- Proactively managing infrastructure to ensure capacity, availability and stability are maintained as per firm business and technical requirements.
- Conducting preventative maintenance on systems, including testing and installing vendor provided upgrades, patches, etc.
- Responsible for advanced troubleshooting of infrastructure and available for call out and shift work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as requirements dictate.
- Supporting the Help Desk to resolve escalated issues as required.

**The independent administration and maintenance of the operation of critical system infrastructure which may include, as needed**:

- Microsoft Azure/Microsoft 365 platform
- Microsoft **Active Directory** (Advanced level)
- Microsoft **Windows Server** administration and support
- Data Centre, **physical** server and storage infrastructure
- Data communication links for WAN and ISP
- College Diploma or professional certification.
- 5-10 years of IT experience in network and enterprise administration.
- Strong administration and networking knowledge including TCP/IP and LAN/WAN and routing concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM and routing/storage/virtualization.
- CCNP, Network+ certification a plus.
- Willingness for flexible support hours.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- Proven interpersonal, customer service and relationship-building skills that create effective working relationships with people at all levels within the Firm.
- Proven critical thinking and analytical / problem solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Professional presence in meetings.
- Law firm and multi-office experience an asset.
- Microsoft and Cisco certifications an asset.
