Installation Technician

_Travelling worldwide to different manufacturing sites and following instructions from the lead technician on site and the customer service supervisor, the installation technician will be responsible for the execution of specific tasks related to the installation, commissioning and repair of automation equipment manufactured for the fabrication of blades for wind turbines._
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Perform the installation of industrial automation equipment used in the fabrication of blades for wind turbines;
- Executes proper assembly of all mechanical components and ensure proper mating with structure of the mould;
- Connect/test all electronic equipment that control hydraulic & electrical components that operate the mechanical equipment;
- Executes integration and mating of new equipment with existing equipment already on site;
- Ensures that all equipment is properly aligned and verified using laser trackers;
- Perform basic welding required to secure components to structures;
- Establish and maintain professional cordial relations with clients and other installation technicians;
- Produce reports & perform other required tasks assigned by the lead technician or the customer service supervisor.
**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Technical degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent is desirable;
- Minimum high school education with post-secondary diploma in a technical field;
- Technical knowledge acquired through hands-on experience of industrial equipment;
- Capability of working efficiently under a variety of environments and working conditions;
- Exceptional communication skills, who can quickly understand technical information;
- Excellent time management, organizational skills with the ability to carry out several tasks;
- Responsible, proactive team-oriented approach & can anticipate needs in advance;
- Ability to adapt and work well with variety of workers in different environments and cultures;
- Capability and willingness to globally travel extensively (up to 90% of time);
- Mandarin speaking an asset.

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
