Sherwood Marine Centre is looking for a passionate and motivated **Marine Technician/Installer** to join our vibrant and dynamic team before the year ends If you’re hard-working, organized, and love working in a fun, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that values collaboration, learning, and growth, all while working on boats in a hands-on, engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on outboards and stern drives
- Install 12V accessories like VHF radios, sounders, GPS displays, downriggers, and more
- Install new motors on new boats or re-power older boats
- Conduct engine diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Solve problems creatively and effectively
- Maintain high-quality service and documentation for all work performed
- Collaborate and learn alongside an amazing team of talented technicians

What We're Looking For:

- **Preferred**: Yamaha, Suzuki, or Honda Certifications
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Journeyman ticket (nice to have, but not required)
- Boating experience is a bonus, but not essential
- A love for mechanical work and a team-oriented attitude
- **Permanent full-time** position with long-term career growth opportunities (Tuesday to Saturday position)

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
