Le Beau is excited to announce that we are preparing to open our second location and are currently seeking an **Early Morning Baker** to help craft our iconic croissants, breads, and other baked goods for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Mix, knead, and prepare dough for breads, croissants, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards.
- Bake items at the correct temperatures, ensuring consistency in quality and appearance.
- Monitor the proofing process and adjust settings as needed.
- Check the quality of ingredients and finished products for freshness and adherence to standards.
- Manage inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Receive and store ingredients properly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment, utensils, and work surfaces after each shift.
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure all baking is completed on time.
- Communicate with the daytime baking team for seamless transitions.
- Work with the Chef and team members to introduce new products or improve existing recipes.
- Prepare special orders or large batches for events or wholesale customers.
- Ensure orders are correctly labeled and ready for pick-up or delivery.
- Taste test and inspect products for quality.
- Adjust recipes or techniques to maintain high standards.
- Maintain records of production quantities, ingredient usage, and inventory levels.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Chef or management.
- Train others as per request.
- Adhere to company policies, food safety standards, and regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to create and innovate new recipes while maintaining consistency in product quality.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a bakery is preferred.
- Proficiency in using bakery equipment and tools.
- Dependable, reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Good team player.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of a busy bakery environment, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials up to 25 kg.
- Ability to quickly understand and operate machinery.
- Up-to-date Safe Food Handling Certificate.
