**Front of the House Manager**
we are looking for an authentic, highly organized and passionate person who wants to help create thoughtful memories and impactful moments with our team as well as our clients.
- **Role & Responsibilities**_
Looking for an experienced Front of House Manager. In this role, you will oversee daily FOH operations ensuring all guests have an outstanding experience. If you are a people person with excellent leadership and customer service skills and enjoy wearing many hats at once, this is the position for you. This role we are looking to fill, will, without a doubt, continue to grow and evolve as the company does, but here is an idea of what you’ll be doing:
Front of the House Hospitality Management:
- Oversee all aspects of Hospitality + Service including floor support and interacting with guests in restaurant and cafe
- Effective use and management of TOCK reservation system
- Work with management and ownership to develop, implement and follow-up on all initiatives, standards and procedures
- Assist in the hiring of qualified employees
- Organize and facilitate staff training
- Supervising, coaching, developing and evaluating staff
- Schedule FOH staff using 7 Shifts Programming
- Labour cost control
- Seasonal beverage menu and cafe' menu development
- Maintaining inventory levels and product ordering
- Handle customer concerns when necessary
- Ensure compliance and documentation of all required certifications (ie. Food Safe, First Aid, ProServe, etc.)
Event Management & Client Related
- Assist with management of events using 7 Shifts, Event Temple, all-seated, Google Docs.
- Coordinate with event booking, ordering, menu creation and customization
- Client meetings as needed
- A variety of event preparation tasks including appropriate blocking and advertising on TOCK reservation system
- Day-of event management in coordination with event team
Communications & Creative
- Assisting with asset creation in Canva
- Assisting with social media content creation
- Providing creative client solutions
- Vendor communication
Admin
- Organizing and ongoing maintenance of our Google Drive system, file system
- Onboarding staff, including 7 Shifts programming, Personnel Onboarding forms, communication with head office, building orientation
- Invoicing
- Cash outs/Tips outs
- Collecting client testimonials
- Coordinating client appreciation cards with Events team
- Vendor and supplier vetting and acquisition, coordination, and management
- **Skills & Experience**_
While we are absolutely open to training and mentoring, some of the skill sets that would be an asset include:
- 3-5 years FOH Manager experience
- Education in Hospitality Management considered an asset
- Experience with event management and/or coordination
- Caring communication skills
- Experience with POS systems, digital event management, social media, and scheduling tools
- Proficiency in Google programs for document/spreadsheet/presentation development
- Proven track record of being able to work both independently and on a team
- Proven track record of being able to lead others effectively, fairly and with accountability
- A preoccupation with customer/client service excellence
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills
- A high tolerance for a dynamic and ever-changing task list (we go with the flow)
- Authenticity within themselves and compassion and empathy for others
- Passion for being a part of something different
- Excellent attention to detail
- Courage to show up in this world to make a difference
- Open to learning
- Experience using Event Temple, All Seated, TOCK or other event management tools
- Experience using Canva and a love for being creative in the program

This is a full time salary position. This position requires flexible availability to be present at various events and activities as required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
