Autism Nova Scotia delivers programming in Halifax and in nine communities across Nova Scotia through our Regional Autism Centres. Our three program divisions are: Social & Community Inclusion; Employment Support; and Family and Caregiver Support.

**Human Resources Clerk**

**Casual Position**: from 0 - 40 hours a week
**Time**: commencing ASAP
**Location**: Bedford
**Salary range**: $16-18

**What we’re looking for**

A passionate, and effective communicator with personal accountability to deliver on what is expected in their role and who strives for excellence every day. They have excellent customer services skills and understands how to adapt to get results. **Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills is a must. **Demonstrated professional handling of confidential information. Ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and adapt to feedback.

Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other disabilities is an asset.

You have:
**Minimum qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education or experience in a related field
- Experience in general office administration
- High level of professionalism and judgment regarding employer/employee relationships

**Minimum experience**:

- Previous experience with HR administration

**Minimum skills and ability**:

- Resourcefulness in solving problems
- Strong organizational skills, analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Gathering appropriate documentation for hiring.
- Maintaining HR filing systems as well as relevant databases.
- Maintaining electronic employee records & files.
- Managing and distributing information for the HR Team.
- Providing occasional support for reception.
- Other duties as required.

**Employment Requirement**

A clear, current criminal record check

A clear, current Child Abuse Registry Check.
