We are currently seeking a local, full-time, experienced bookkeeper to join our extensive team We are a busy bookkeeping firm specializing in QuickBooks, Sage 50 & QuickBooks Online. Our clients range from construction trades to retail, restaurants, medical practices, sole proprietorships, corporations and non-profit organizations.

The successful applicant will have: An upbeat, positive, & professional attitude, great work ethic, high energy and fantastic organization skills. Extensive experience with: MS Office Applications, QuickBooks, Sage 50, Excel and QuickBooks online preferred.

Minimum 5 years Bookkeeping experience would be preferred & experience handling multiple companies, payrolls and deadlines would be helpful.

The position entails: In office, full cycle bookkeeping data entry, typing, generating reports, spreadsheets, maintain & update client files & records, payroll, PD7A’s, ROE’s T4’s, government subsidies related to Covid 19, preparing government remittances, providing excellent customer service, sorting, filing, general office admin & client support as needed, working unsupervised with quick, accurate results, ability to work with a close team, extremely good communication skills, and verbal & written professionalism & confidentiality is a must.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- Parksville, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
