**Facilitator - Solutions Learning Facilitator**

**Responsibilities**
- Assess learning needs of participants and identify potential barriers to their success;
- Utilize a variety of interactive and engaging learning tools to foster optimal learning and participation;
- Use the Employability Skills Assessment Tool (ESAT), identify gaps in learning and provide constructive feedback to participants, offering strategies for improvement to ideally master key employability skills;
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to participants to enhance their skills;
- Assess participants’ program success and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms;
- Meet with participants and support team to determine transition plans and provide support and complete reports as required;
- Facilitate other in-person and digital sessions as required.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Completion of post-secondary education in a related field or combination of skills, education and experience;
- Strong Facilitation skills utilizing Adult Principles of Learning;
- Experience working with adults with varied learning abilities;
- Excellent inter-personal, communication skills and problem solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a strong team player;
- Demonstrated skills as an innovative thinker and problem solver who is open to new challenges and learning new things;
- Ability to influence and motivate participants to engage in learning opportunities;
- Ability to interact with people of all ages, cultural backgrounds and diverse life experiences with sensitivity, compassion, and patience;
- Superior level of ethical behaviour, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment;
- Experience with Zoom and Microsoft Office suite and in facilitating virtually is a bonus.

**Job Types**:Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Contract length**: 3-6 months with possibility of extension

**Expected hours**: 35 per week

**Salary**: $ 24.97 / hour

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday
