**TRAINING INTERNSHIP in the Social Media, Writing, Digital Marketing Industry for Canadian College/University Students**

General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The intern will learn best practices in training delivery and implementation, communication skills and basic management tactics from experienced staff.

Responsibilities and tasks may include:

- Creating social media campaigns and developing a content calendar
- Responding to Facebook and Google reviews, along with Better Business Bureau consumer messages
- Assisting in the preparation of marketing plans
- Assisting in the preparation of business plans
- Supporting customer service initiatives
- Content creation; copywriting; blogs; articles; white papers
- Writing, editing, and sending communications
- Creating landing pages; editing wordpress websites
- Implementing a campaign to boost SEO (offsite and onsite)
- Database updates
- Preparing powerpoint presentations
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of reports, correspondence and information decks.
- Attending project meetings and providing follow-up support, including preparing meeting notes, agendas, action lists, reminders, and tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program
- Interest in a social media, writing, digital marketing role
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Docs, and a basic computer knowledge
- Strong communication (verbal and written)

- This training is similar to that which is provided in a vocational school

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 3 - 6 months

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
