The Marketing Coordinator is an in-office position. It supports the company and the external marketing agency in developing, launching, and managing the company’s marketing plan, contributing to current marketing strategies, coordinating, and executing tactics, tracking performance, and providing improvement ideas.

The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in our success by effectively communicating with the external Ad Agency and overseeing all marketing aspects to maximize efficiencies and deliverables for all parties. Acting as the liaison between various internal departments, and with the external Ad Agency, the Marketing Coordinator helps to align team efforts and communications to maintain a collaborative and cohesive relationship.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-4-year degree preferred marketing, communications or administration, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, agency and/or in-house environment
- Proven experience in a marketing coordinator role
- Experience working with an external Marketing & Ad Agency
- In-depth knowledge of digital advertising and online sales channels
- An understanding of Google Ads and Google Analytics
- An understanding of Social Media Marketing and Advertising
- Experience building strategy around sales funnels and multi-channel ads
- A firm grasp of customer journey and touchpoint marketing
- Strong analytical skills for market research and data analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Experience with the following tools is an asset: Shopify, Photoshop or Canva
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with social media marketing strategies and best practices
- Experience capturing content (photos & video) for social media.

The marketing coordinator's main role is to assist the _Marketing and Advertising Agency_ with implementing the marketing plans, strategies, tactics, and deliverables the agency has developed based on the organization's objectives. The external agency will take most of the lead in building out the overarching strategy, developing campaigns, creating ads, and managing the execution.

Communication Duties
- Act as spokesperson for the organization, bringing forth the company’s vision and communicating the company’s objectives with the external ad agency
- Bring forth the organization’s internal movements, production schedule, product campaigns, etc. anything that may benefit from the ad agency’s input and marketing efforts

Collaboration and Oversight Duties
- Discuss and review online advertising campaigns, including Google Ads
- Discuss and review graphics and visuals for online promotions
- Discuss and review social media content
- Assist in the preparation of material for publications and materials
- Assist with Sales & Marketing automation strategies
- Assist with Structuring & Executing KPI monitoring automation
- Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions.
- Planning and coordinating yearly trade shows; setting up booths and attending the trade shows.
- Effectively coordinate marketing initiatives and communicate resources, assets, scope, and deadlines to achieve objectives.
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings and taking notes to be forwarded to internal company departments
- Review marketing data provided by the Ad Agency that has been collected from various channels to monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities
