Tool Crib Attendant

Position Summary:
**Tacten is currently recruiting for a Tool Crib Attendant to support our maintenance team at Syncrude in the Fort McMurray area**.** If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Compliance with ISO or company specific quality programs and the appropriate use of procedures
- Assist employees in making selections for supplies and equipment; monitor and control inventory levels of materials, equipment and stock;
- Receiving, sorting and distributing goods to the appropriate location or stock items in the tool crib.
- Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using a manual or a computerized inventory system.
- Upkeep and maintenance of the tool crib.
**Requirements**:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an related industrial setting
- High level of Mechanical aptitude and experience
- Solid knowledge of basic hand/trade tools, welding equipment etc.
- Capability of operating a forklift and holding a valid permit.
- You will be knowledgeable and proficient in computers and Microsoft programs and work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Other related safety training and IATA TDG certification would be an asset
- Ability to successfully complete all safety training requirements
Working Conditions:
- Local to Fort McMurray or able to fly out of Alberta Hubs (FIFO) Calgary and Edmonton
- 7/7 rotation, 12hrs/day at straight time
- Long-term maintenance position
