Specification Administrator is responsible for setup, configuration, and administration of catalog and specification of 3D environment systems. Reporting to Design Technology Services Lead, the Specification Administrator is responsible for entry, structure definition, organization, and correctness of technical information.

**Responsibilities**:

- Technical review of piping material specifications, valve descriptions, piping specialty items datasheets, off-specification requests, manufacturer datasheets, and other relevant Engineering documentation.
- Catalog and specification data generation for plant 3D modeling software.
- Creation of piping classes used for 3D modeling purposes that contain pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, branch connections, fasteners, and relevant calculation data.
- 3D object generation in CAD software for standard components and assemblies such as pipe supports, valve operators, drains, vents, etc.
- Support and troubleshoot specification related problems reported by users.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education with technical diploma in Engineering, CAD/CADD, Design, and/or Applied Sciences.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of academic training and related experience.
- Basic knowledge of one or more plant 3D modeling software/systems. Autodesk Plant 3D and/or Hexagon CADWorx software is preferred.
- Ability to perform 3D modeling in CAD software. Autodesk AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is required.
- Some exposure to industry standards such as ASME, API, CSA, MSS, or others would be an asset.
- Database fundamentals, including some SQL, would be an asset.
- Ability to think analytically to recognize issues and propose solutions.
- Organized with the ability to produce accurate results.
- Works independently and in a collaborative team environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks and receive technical instructions.
- Willingness to continuously improve and learn.

Salary is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week. The competitive salary will be based on skills and experience.

Estimated range is between $54,600-$66,500
