**What does this role involve ?**

As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects of our business. You will support our CFO in a variety of tasks, including analyzing financial performance, preparing reports and contributing to budget planning. You will also be responsible for cost management, cash flow and cash requirements planning. Your expertise will also be called upon to improve accounting processes to ensure the efficiency and quality of the company’s financial programs.

**What will your daily life look like?**:

- Participate in the preparation of financial statements, in the budget and month-end process
- Analyze financial reports and discrepancies
- Be involved in costing, cash flow and cash flow planning
- Produce financial analyses and models and issue recommandations
- Develop and improve project costing model and budgeting process
- Improve accounting and finance policies and procedures
- Ensure the efficiency and quality of programs in place within the organization
- Support our US subsidiary

**Are you the person we’re looking for ?**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent training
- Interest in obtaining CPA certification or being CPA-certified or CPA certification (an asset)
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar position
- **Specific knowledge essential**: Comfortable working with Windows and MS Office (Excel)
- **Specific knowledge desired**: Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software, ability to communicate in French and English to exchange with our partners.
- **Key skills required**: Strong sense of confidentiality and rigor, organizational skills, analytial mind. Ability to work on several files at the same time and to collaborate with various players (internal / external)
