The OMNI Research Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to work with a variety of clinical trials and research projects in maternal-newborn care, and women’s health. The Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) will participate in research ethics board submissions, renewals, regulatory and administrative management of studies, maintaining project day to day scheduling, screening for all studies, patient recruitment, study visits, data collection, analytical assistance, coordination of project meetings, inventory and multi-center communication. The CRA will also be a part of the on-call rotation with other team members for answering Birthing Unit phone calls after regular business hours and on weekends and required to contact the sample collection team to go on-site and process samples. CRA will also help in other day to day activities and provide ongoing support to the study team and ongoing projects in all aspects to ensure success of projects.

**Basic Requirements (Education/Experience)**:

- 2 years clinical research experience and a secondary diploma
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonisation - Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
- Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project (preferred), basic database management

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a health science field
- Experience in obstetrics, gynecology and newborn care
- Advanced time-management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Good clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain records of research activities (source documents, essential documents)
- Bilingual in English and French (not required but preferred)
- Flexible work schedule

**Contract Details**:
This is a 1-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal

**Salary**: Min:$24.929/hr - Max:$29.367/hr
