**PROFILE**
Our Vancouver office is seeking a talented New Business Intake Coordinator to join our Finance team. As a New Business Intake Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting key stakeholders for all tasks related to new business intake. Attention to detail and a strong dedication to providing outstanding internal and external client services are paramount for success in this role.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Complete the file opening process in Aderant, ensuring all relevant information is captured, recorded, and maintained in accordance with defined policies and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in client/matter records and continually update and maintain information in Aderant.
- Assist with closing files.
- Provide coaching and support to legal assistants as needed to ensure all required information for new matter opening is captured and recorded accurately, and information for existing matters is updated in a timely manner.
- Support key projects and initiatives as required to manage the Firm’s risk.
- Execution of data cleaning projects.
- Assist in process improvement projects including a New Business Intake paperless workflow.
- Assist in testing for new programs and processes.
- Address general inquiries and other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Knowledge of accounting software an asset (i.e. Aderant).
- Ability to communicate with Firm members in a professional manner, providing outstanding service.
- Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
**EDUCATION**:
- High school diploma; post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting is an asset.
**EXPERIENCE**:
- 3 - 5 years related work experience, preferably in a professional services work environment.
- Experience in a professional service firm.
