**Where is the work**:
**Onsite**: This position has been designated as **On-Site.**
**What you will do**:
- The Order Management Specialist coordinates daily operation of the Distribution activities with responsibility for achieving maximum quality and cost effectiveness in an on-time and efficient manner. Actively participates in all areas of customer relations, and will be supporting both Inbound, Outbound, or Value Added Services.
- Manage all sales order coordination with warehouse to ensure timely order fulfilment, and initiate action as warranted.
- Reviews daily and weekly inbound and outbound schedules and capabilities to assure all deadlines are met.
- Monitors open orders to determine schedule priorities. Coordinates and expedites hot parts.
- Communicates/updates management of daily problems and concerns, identifying areas needing attention to ensure the continuity of the operation.
- Engages with internal and external customers to fully identify needs, respond to inquiries or questions.
- Assists with warehouse/inventory management work as needed - cycle count entry, back orders, PO receipts, transfers, shipping & receiving, store stocking, inventory control, item master & bin location.
- Coordinate with sales regarding order status, shipping dates, issues, and product availability.
- Dispatch orders to freight companies.
- Proactively follow up on any customer issues (returns, warranties)
- Oversee warehouse inventory as it relates to orders and shipping
- Solid understanding of warehouse inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Monitor all monthly shipments and follow up with carriers.
- Main contact for warehouse related inquiries
- Provides reporting for vendors, distributors, customers and company associates, including vendor products shipped to location, additional shipping and invoicing data etc.
- Customer walk-in/pick-up sales
- Inspect and process RMA
- Additional administrative tasks as it relates to district distribution as required.
**What you will bring**:
- High School Diploma (or GED) and at least 2 years of logistics or similar customer service experience is required.
**Essential Skills or Knowledge**:
- Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
- Strong logistics experience and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational stills, extremely detail oriented with attention to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Self-starter and willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
**Compensation**:
Base Pay Range: $ 55,000-65,000 / yr. + incentive plan
Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
