Thriving Non-Profits is a program of Scale Collaborative. It has been delivered to over 250 organizations across Canada and is growing.
The Thriving Non-Profits Cohort Program continues to expand into more regions across Canada and would like to engage with facilitators with a diversity of experiences and regions. Facilitation is done entirely online.
The Thriving Non-Profits Cohort Facilitator is responsible for guiding cohort participants through the Thriving Non-Profits process and the program’s eight modules. The facilitator's responsibility will include creating a trusting, engaging, and thought-provoking atmosphere to support organizations in maximizing the program’s impact on individuals within their team, the organization itself, and the cross-sector opportunities. The facilitator will have the support of an assistant during virtual sessions who will lead on any technology needs, such as breakout rooms, help button response, accessing Google folders, etc.
**Compensation**: $2,600 + GST per cohort (facilitator may do multiple cohorts at the same time)

**Qualifications**:

- You have a passion for and a deep understanding of the non-profit and charity sector
- You have in-depth experience being or are currently an Executive Director, senior staff, or Board Member of a non-profit
- You are an experienced facilitator
- You have experience with entrepreneurial thinking within non-profits and charities
- You can think on your feet to meet the learning needs of participants where they are, and offer ideas to enrich the learning within an online experience
- You have experience or know of non-profit examples using revenue streams on fee for service, social enterprise, asset acquisition, making a profit, and partnerships
- You are looking to share your expertise and increase positive social, environmental, and cultural impact
- You are interested in providing facilitation at various times of the year on a contract basis
- Bilingual Proficiency: You are fluent in both French and English, with strong communication skills in both languages, to effectively support French-speaking organizations in Canada.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on time in facilitation
- You have a passion for building capacity and have experience in hosting team-based learning
- You take the initiative and are self-motivated
- You are easy to talk to and have the ability to make others feel at ease, and can build trust with a variety of people

**Logistics of Facilitating**:Facilitation Hours**:

- Each cohort includes eight virtual sessions over five months, and each module's facilitation is three to five hours approximately every three weeks.
- Approximately 43 hours over five months per cohort. There may be an opportunity to do more than one cohort at a time

**Dates of Facilitation**:

- You would facilitate each session and have the option to invite a guest facilitator from Scale Collaborative on a particular topic.
- Facilitation dates are mapped out in advance for the entire five months before each cohort begins, so there is flexibility on which day of the week you facilitate
- Cohorts will be at various times throughout the year, and there is flexibility in which cohort(s) you facilitate
