As we continue to expand and innovate, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded individual to join our executive team as the Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives.

OPTT provides a virtual behavioral health platform for psychotherapists to provide clinically validated interactive therapy to their patients. OPTT’s therapy modules have been developed and optimized for over 10 years and are validated through clinical trials. Using machine learning and AI algorithms, OPTT evaluates the patient’s mental status to aid clinicians in care. The scalable platform leverages customized features that ease integration wherever clinicians work to allow them to receive actionable insights and provide personalized feedback.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Business Development and Strategic Initiatives Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the board of directors to identify the key areas of business development and formulate company-wide strategies and business plans for future growth.
- Lead the development and execution of the company's overall business development and growth strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new opportunities for expansion and revenue generation.
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital for the company’s growth and expansion initiatives.
- Negotiate deals on behalf of the company ranging from a few hundred to multi-million dollars.
- Lead the company in the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business opportunities, including partnerships, expansions, and acquisitions, according to the company's objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and industry influencers, to facilitate collaboration and drive business success.
- Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely and effective implementation and monitoring progress against established goals and KPIs.
- Manage and motivate the company to implement strategic initiatives and projects.
- Coordinate with the CEO and board of directors to select middle managers, directors or other executive and senior staff positions and provide mentorship to middle managers and senior staff.
- Lead in-depth market research analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the industry landscape and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with CEO and CFO for budget planning and resource allocations

**Investor Relations Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, providing regular updates on the company's performance, financial health, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensuring timely, accurate and transparent communication with current and potential investors as the primary point of contact.
- Collaborate with the CEO and CFO to develop investor relations strategies and lead the business development team in producing materials for investor communication, including presentations, reports, and financial disclosures.
- Coordinate with the CEO and CFO and lead investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences to promote the company's investment opportunities and attract new investors.
- Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and regulatory developments to anticipate potential impacts on the company's investor relations strategy.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in investor relations, business development, business intelligence, strategy, finance, project management, management consulting or related roles, preferably within the high-tech, venture capital, private equity and startup investment environment.
- Experience in managing due diligence, valuation, and sell-side projects.
- Experience reporting to a Board of Directors and managing investor relations activities including communication, reporting and relationship management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including investors.
- Direct experience managing investor relations activities, including communications, reporting, and relationship management.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders in the investment community.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for innovation and systematic problem-solving and a willingness to take calculated risks to achieve business objectives.
