We are also branching out into the grocery space, opening the first location of L’OCA Quality Market this Spring in Sherwood Park. We are looking for a passionate data scientist to join our team and help us solve business challenges with a data-driven approach. From **descriptive **to **predictive analytics**, you will immerse yourself in** inventory optimization**, **customer loyalty **and **lead conversion**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Extract, transform and load large datasets from various sources, across different environments.
- Create visualizations, charts and dashboards to communicate findings with stakeholders.
- Build predictive models utilizing mathematical concepts, including machine learning.
- Craft algorithms that anticipate customer desires and purchasing habits.
- Collaborate with other team members across departments and functions of the business to implement data-driven solutions.
- Support the L’OCA Team build and maintain a production schedule for their gourmet kitchen and restaurants.
- Support the Go Auto Team in understanding and improving the lead conversion funnel.
- Fine-tune the inventories of our car dealerships, RVs, grocery store and restaurants.
- Stay updated on data science, technology and industry trends.

**Qualifications**
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related fields; a Master's or PhD adds horsepower to your credentials.
- Experience in Python, SQL, statistical modelling techniques, machine learning, descriptive and predictive analytics.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A keen eye for detail that can spot a needle in a haystack (or an outlier in a dataset).
- A passion for narrating stories with data because numbers need context to drive impactful decisions.
- Outstanding collaboration skills to work seamlessly with teams, ensuring smooth pit stops on your journey.
- Bonus: experience in the Microsoft Azure / Fabric stack.
