The Data Engineer/Data Scientist will be a member of the Product team and will collaborate across the company in support of our goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide insights, reporting, and data visualizations for internal teams and external customers
- Breakdown stakeholder requests and recommend solutions that are timely, accurate, and create business value
- Develop solutions to business problems by utilizing Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
- Collaborate across teams to evolve our approach to data warehousing
- Inform the roadmap of data-related initiatives
Experience
- Degree/Diploma in computing science, mathematics, statistics or a related field
- Strong expertise with query languages and SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience working as a data analyst, engineer, and/or scientist, with a proven track record of generating insights in a repeatable and actionable manner
- Experience with applied Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
- Experience with data modelling, warehousing, and pipelining
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong capability to build relationships across the company
- Familiarity with data tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, and Jupyter Notebook
