Woodbridge, Canada Summer Fresh Full time

Summer Fresh Salads is a leading manufacturer of hummus, dips, and salads in Canada. We currently have an opening for a Marketing Professional. This key position within our organization will report to the Director of Marketing.

This position is responsible for the management, development and oversight of the Company’s digital marketing and communication programs as assigned. This position is also responsible to meet and exceed department objectives. Develop and oversee yearly marketing strategy with the Marketing Director.
- Develop, manage and measure digital marketing campaigns performance based on goals/objectives.
- Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website
- Develop content and oversee the digital & social strategy for the Company
- Propose, manage and oversee traditional & digital media buying and content creation through external agencies.
- Develop and/or author marketing communications across multiple major social accounts as well as approve staff content. Grow our social presence in terms of the target audience and share of voice.
- Manage budget and is accountable for delivering against business goals/objectives and meeting KPIs.
- Manages the collaboration with influencers/bloggers to promote brand during key periods and launches.
- Be industry trend expert to ensure best practices are resourced, developed and applied.
- Assist the Sales & Marketing team “on the ground” with events, demos, and trade shows. Some travel may be required.
- Occasional after-hour work will be required.
- Work on special projects and other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

**Knowledge/Experience/Skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Marketing)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing, communications role.
- Possess deep knowledge of web analytics and search engine marketing and optimization.
- Testing and optimizing the customer journey through various conversion funnels.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, extremely detail oriented.
- Experience in digital media purchasing and account management related to PPC, network and programmatic purchasing methods as well as Google AdWords. Will also have an expert knowledge of paid campaign execution across major social media platforms.
- Knowledge of Canva, and WordPress required. Photography and social media video content creation.
- Bilingual (French & English) an asset.
- Excellent prioritization skills. Ability to multitask.
- Positive and professional demeanor. Ability to effectively interact with people at all levels
- Ability to act with discretion, patience and diplomacy. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Assistant Product Manager - 12 month contract**

Summer Fresh Salads is a leading manufacturer of hummus, dips, and salads in Canada. We currently have an opening for an Assistant Product Manager. This key position within our organization will report to the Director of Marketing.

This position is responsible for execution and administration of multiple marketing programs. This position is also responsible to meet and exceed department objectives. This is an office-based position.
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing plan, new product introductions, packaging changes, and consumer promotions.
- Assist in creation and execution of marketing campaigns out to the trade/banners, working with Key Account Managers to secure ‘white space’ opportunities and align with corporate business objectives and marketing calendar.
- Draft and continually improve all Sales Materials (sell sheets, presentations, etc.), ensuring timely coordination.
- Observe and analyze Nielsen data, category insights, market trends and competitive activities to seek out innovative ways to build the brands.
- Manage and oversee experiential marketing program, including but not limited to staff, organizing training, car fleet, management of outside agency (where applicable) and reporting
- Maintain coupon inventory and tracking of redemption.

**Knowledge/Experience/Skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Marketing)
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in Marketing and/or CPG. New product development and innovation expertise
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit with a ‘can-do’ attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- An understanding of Branded and Private Label Business practices
- An ability to think and act analytically and well as creatively
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with short turn-around deliverables.
