The Director Engine Programs is the leader responsible to ensure that the customer account management team has the tools, knowledge and processes to execute best in class customer service. The team is the technical and commercial interface between the Company, Engine Programs and the customer. The Director Engine Programs will be responsible for the professional management and support of its customers and contracts. Typical duties include representing the customer effectively within MTU, by building and leading a professional team to drive the customer requirements through the organization on time on budget on quality, ensuring and improving our customers satisfaction while seeking optimum profitability results for MTU and its customers.

**Your Tasks**:
The Director Engine Programs will support the strategic plan for the team as well as;
Leadership
- Foster an open, honest and fair working environment for the team internally and across location - Communication is key
- Ensure all processes and requirements are clearly documented and understood by the team
- Positive team environment open to change and feedback
- Provide leadership, coaching, guidance as required and regular feedback to the team
- Build relationships with in the MTU network

Sales Oriented:

- Responsible for all bid management activities for MM jointly with the Engine Programs responsible across locations
- Support sales activities with existing and new customers, involvement in proposals and contracts for new customers
- Manage customer orders and contracts as well as ensure profitability
- Oversee inputs to shop visit forecast and SMAP, including inputs to 8 week forecast, financial, and annual operating plan

Shop Visit Related:

- Ensure each shop visit follows in accordance with the shop visit execution process, technically, commercially and financially

Contract Related:

- Monitor all key KPIs and Program health: TAT, budgets/costs, customer satisfaction, quality in accordance with contractual arrangements, customer requirements and MTU requirements.
- Ensure optimized contract management and post shop visit analysis
- Optimize the financial result in accordance to MTU guidelines.
- Responsible for coordination of on-call service and AOG support.
- Initiate customer complaint management and voice of the customer actions as required
- Ensure that after each shop visit the organization understands and action results for the next SV
- Ensure that effective customer set-up is achieved and that the customer requirements and budgets are effectively communicated to Operations and implemented prior to the shop visit.
- Build both strong internal and external customer relationships based on trust and reliability

**Our Requirements**:

- Bachelor/University degree in a Business related area and 7-10+ years’ experience in customer account management, preferable in an aviation environment with some financial background/experience degree in an Engineering related area or equivalent education is an asset
- or >6 years equivalent education with technical background and customer support, preferable in a aviation environment
- Experience in process implementation and transformation/change management is an asset
- Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Operation System Windows
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP Customer Support specific functions/transactions
- Preferable second language depending on customer requirements
