Glen Group of Companies specializes in providing Industrial business owners with customized and reliable services for their Security, Construction, Traffic Control and Warehousing needs. We have 5 companies under the umbrella with one training school, we are based out of lower mainland and serve to various clients in different sectors.

**We're looking for a Human Resources Manager for one of our group companies, Glen Traffic Solutions**. You will be the working closely with the operations director & all the departmental leaders to create and implement policies and employment engagement and relations. You will also work on creating a good culture for the company.

CPHR is a considered as an Asset

Specialist in Employment Standards Act & Policy making
- 3 to 5 years
- Manage talent acquisition - Post jobs and ads in select locations in various job platforms. Screen and source qualified applicants and resumes. Coordinate the interview process with individuals and panels. Gather interview feedback and communicate with applicants during and after the interview process. Conduct job fairs, placement & training opportunities for Students/ freshers.
- Overseeing the recruitment process and taking important hiring decisions.
- Identifying staffing needs, actively recruiting for positions via various job portals, and reviewing all paperwork and approval decisions.
- Supports the development and oversees the implementation of human resources strategies, policies and procedures to achieve the overall mission and success of the Company.
- Leading the HR team to develop policies and procedures in alignment with BC Labor Standards, including reviewing existing ones and improve as necessary, research and develop an effective Application Tracing System to meet the needs of all companies, as well as develop a policy manual for the office staff.
- Sets direction and oversees the provision of high-quality HR services as well as ensures the effective and efficient operation of all aspects of employee transactions, complying with collective agreements, legislation, procedures and regulations.
- Managing the benefits programs for all the employees
- Union negotiation and collective bargaining
- Assisting in the development of scope for the growth of the company.
- Monitoring quality of service delivered through various reporting methods.
- Administering performance reviews and employee career development programs.
- Developing partnerships with client companies and unions, and resolving any problems by implementing innovative solutions.
- Other HR duties related to your role for ongoing company operational success.
- You have a bachelor’s or master's degree, specializing in HR management or a related field. A CPHR designation is preferred.
- Having prior experience in Senior HR is preferred.
- Having experience especially in Warehouses in Light Industrial & Skilled Trades Division
- You bring experience leading, managing, and developing others and know how to manage budgets, make strategic HR decisions, set goals and implement change.
- You naturally build relationships with others based on trust.
- You bring a strong understanding of HR management principles, best practices, and have a firm grasp of BC employment law. This knowledge along with your ability to coach and guide managers will help you to influence and build consensus in others easily.
- You have superior verbal, written, and presentation skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy and active listening.
- You are a self-starter with a proven ability to work independently but also have excellent leadership skills to thrive in a team environment.
- In this role, you are privy to confidential employee matters. You will be expected to conduct sensitive investigations, and treat all situations and people involved with fairness and dignity.

**Salary**: Commensurate with experience

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year
