The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving assigned commercial targets, by building and maintaining relationships with Aortic, Endovascular / peripheral vascular and Neuro Vascular (APV & NV) health-care professionals (Interventional Radiologist, Interventional Neuro-Radiologist & Vascular Surgeons) as well as purchasing and materials management personnel, hospital administration, and associated professional associations. The Account Manager will be also responsible to support APV & NV procedures, train & educates customers on proper use of products and technology he will be accountable for, as well as to increase technology and product adoption to improve patient outcomes. He will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work collaboratively with the APV & NV team, including Clinical Specialists, Marketing, Finance, and supply chain. This role will ensure strategic territory management that is aligned with the business objectives.

Align with Manager to build and execute on a comprehensive strategic plan to exceed sales revenue targets on a quarterly basis. Collaborate with Manager, Marketing and other business unit colleagues to identify and close revenue generating opportunities. Provide detailed and bold sales forecasts; identifying risk, action items, and resources needed to achieve. This role involves fluidly and cohesively working across the Medtronic matrix and with key customers to evolve the role according to rapidly changing market dynamics.

The purpose of the position is the development of long-term relationships with customers. Own, lead and contribute to the account blue sheet and strategic selling process. Liaise with Strategic Partnership Manager (SPM) and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for account development.

**A day in the life.**

Ø
_Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales _
- targets. _

Ø
_Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare _
- professionals. _

Ø
_Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or _
- services. _

Ø
_Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or _
- services. _

Ø _Conducts market research including customers and competitors’ _activities. _

Ø _Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as _needed. _

_Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions _
- (ADR) _

Ø Foster a strategic approach to drive consistent growth.

Ø Be laser focused to exceed AOP, each quarter, while diligently managing expenses.

Ø Bold and accurate forecasting is key

Ø Effectively managing/optimizing consignment inventory is critical.

Ø The position requires a true entrepreneurial, ‘hunter’ skillset.

Ø With Manager, coordinate the schedules of local Clinical Specialists (where applicable) to optimize procedural case coverage/patient programming and other required tasks.

Ø Successful completion of required (and ongoing) product and sales related training curriculum.

Ø Compliance with completing Medtronic functional training and education modules.

Ø Manage hospital, SSO and GPO contracts (Pre-tender, Tender, Implementation).

Ø Building a robust Capital Funnel and associated Sales Plan is essential.

Ø Optimize increasing technical scope that often crosses OU lines

Ø Clearly articulate strategic objectives to navigate and deliver value to Provincial healthcare systems.

Ø Establish education programs related to the company's products and/or services.

Ø Drive share within the defined market and territory

Ø Ability to support account clinical support demands as required.

Ø Implement and execute launch plans for defined portfolio

Ø Develop relationships and maintain continuity within the defined market

Ø Liase with marketing and engage key clinical stakeholders and administrators in a broader “value” story regarding the related product offering associated with the position

**Must Have.**

Ø _Bachelor’s degree _

Ø _Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare _field. _

Ø Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time. Travel will include over-nights and weekends.

Ø Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.

Ø High level of integrity, ethics and compliance.

Ø Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule. Role often involves evenings, weekends and Provincial holidays.
