**Research Coordinator**:
**Primary Purpose**: The primary role of the Research Coordinator is to lead the coordination, communication, and completion of project deliverables related to program of research for the Dean of Nursing.

**Nature of Work**: This work involves working closely with the Dean of Nursing and collaborating research and community team members from multiple institutions, disciplines, nationally and internationally. The role requires self-motivated and independent work to provide research coordination on a variety of project and providing logistic support for international research delegations. This position will support team meetings and provide regular reporting. The position will also effectively document, communicate, and follow up on assigned tasks and deliverables for research team members, both internally and externally to the university. Travel is required.

**Accountabilities**:

- Participate in regular team meetings.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Follow up on assigned tasks with team members and stakeholders.
- Effectively document, communicate, and track project milestones and deliverables.
- Plan team meetings and logistic planning for international research delegations and projects.
- Edit, draft and support knowledge translation and funding activities.
- Meet timelines and deliverables, including reporting and document development.

**Education**: A degree in an appropriate area of social or health sciences. Consideration will be given to individuals with equivalent qualifications and experience. A proven track-record with research coordination and productivity is essential.

**Experience**: Understanding of research processes and team dynamics; understanding of qualitative, quantitative and/or mixed-methods analyses; experience with engagement and consultation with international institutions, communities and governments; experience with coordinating research teams; demonstrated productivity and contributions to the research environment including proposal writing, reporting, and manuscript preparation; experience working in and with diverse populations and international environments preferred. Experience in public health, health services, or social science research is required. Experience with tri-council funded projects an asset. Experience with journal publications an asset. Knowledge of university processes and policies are an asset.

**Salary**: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $49,301.00 - 77,033.00 per annum. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
