About the Team

Our Value Management team mission is to partner with top organizations - to assist them in telling their stories, to quantify what life with Workday will mean for them, and to work side-by-side to craft the materials and models needed to articulate their Workday journey. As an internal consulting wing of Workday’s sales operations team, Value Managers work with prospects and customers throughout their full life-cycle on a wide variety of projects and evaluations. We center on relationships, analytics, and business strategy in the industries we support. We have the privilege of advising leaders from the C-Suite of the world’s largest corporations to the all-knowing Finance/Business Analyst behind the scenes at small organizations. About the Role

As a Value Manager, you will:

- Develop relationships as a consultant and business advisor to a team of Workday Account Executives
- working alongside them and the industry’s premier pre-sales teams to engage, excite, and educate Workday prospects on their transformation.
- Command a solid understanding of Workday’s technology to deliver compelling and relevant messages around Workday’s unique and differentiated value.
- Drive engaging discovery interviews with Finance, IT, and HR customers to understand business processes and challenges within their organizations.
- Assist Organizations define their roadmap with Workday in a way that optimizes value realization and strategic alignment.
- Develop and deliver compelling, highly narrative, and engaging business case materials and presentations to senior audiences including C-suite and board-level executives.
- Conduct consultative quantitative analysis, return on investment modeling, and capability benchmarking
- Drive the strategic vision for the Value Management team by creating and sharing new best practices, innovation frameworks, and thought leadership.

About You

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in consulting, finance, corporate strategy, value engineering, corporate strategy, or financial planning and analysis other applicable roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS encouraged.

Other Qualifications
- Ability to work across multiple collaborators to set a vision, formulate a plan, and deliver against your own internal clock.
- Experience with workforce or finance technology transformation.
- Strong consulting skill-set including excellent discovery, quantitative modeling, listening, collaboration, communication, and executive presence.
- Deeply curious about a variety of business models, highly motivated to have an impact on customers, and broadly interested in using technology to address business problems.
- Understanding of software deal dynamics and ability to think strategically about driving software opportunities forward is encouraged.
- Willingness to travel when required to customer sites; typically “day trips”; you control personal travel schedule
- Passion to work in a team environment and share creative ideas regularly
